Safety is always first for us step 1 would be we shut off power to the air conditioner breaker also the outside shut off box. 

On the exterior condenser and compressor we would remove the fan cage. We would clean all debri inside and make sure is free of debri and clean from the interior.

We would remove any outer covers use a powerful vacuum to remove any dirt. We then would grab a garden hose and spray through the fins from inside out to remove any excess dirt. We would not use pressure washers just because that can cause damage to the fins. We can also use a commercial fin cleaning spray. 

This can be done also straighten the fins any reduction in air flow reduces the efficiency of your air conditioner we would do this very gently just because you can damage the tubbing embedded within the fins. So let our professionals do this for proper cleaning.

We also would make sure all debris are clean around the air conditioner very important. During the winter season we would recommend when the condenser is not in use put a cover that way you don't have many debris falling inside the unit,  However, don’t completely cover the unit’s sides, since moisture can build up inside and cause corrosion. Also, a completely covered unit encourages vermin to build nests inside. Remove any cover when the unit is operating. 

Also it is important we level the unit outside over time the pad that it sits on the soil start to shift. A not level condenser can cause compressor to fail early. Here at AAA AC quality services of port st. lucie we can make sure this happens.

Moving inside we would go in evaporator coil we would use soft brush to dust off coils  then we would  spray the coil with commercially available no-rinse coil cleaner. The spray will foam up and drain into the drain pan then we would put cover back on.

 First we would find the drain line where it leaves the evaporator coil enclosure. The drain is usually a one-inch PVC pipe (white, grey, or black). Follow it to the end where it drains. Often the line drains outside near the condenser unit, but it can also drain into a utility sink or basement floor drain or, in the case of attic units, down an outside wall.

Once located, use a wet/dry vacuum to clear the drain. It’s best to remove the paper filter from the wet/dry vacuum so as not to ruin the filter. Hold the hose of the wet/dry vacuum to the end of the drain line. We can use duct tape or simply hold a rag around the gap. Turn on the vacuum for 2-3 minutes then turn off. This will clear the drain of any growing biological matter.
